2nd Annual Secret Santa Centre Wellington

What exactly is Secret Santa Centre Wellington?

Secret Santa Centre Wellington is three fold:

1.  You will give a gift (and receive a gift) that is locally purchased. (SHOP LOCAL!)
2.  You will meet people you may never have known before at a networking event like no other. (INCREASES SENSE OF COMMUNITY!)
3.  Proceeds from this fun event go back to Big Brothers Big Sisters of Centre Wellington. (GIVE LOCAL!)

Last year this event attracted almost 60 participants and raised close to $1500 for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Centre Wellington.  Big Brothers Big Sisters screens, trains and supports mentors for youth in our community who need a friend and role model.

What do I need to do?

Right now all you have to do is register and make a minimum donation of $15 and make sure you answer a few probing questions!

November 29: Registration Deadline

November 30: We make the matches happen and let you know who you have and how they answered their probing questions! Then you go shopping locally!

December 10: We gather at the Elora Centre for the Arts at 5pm and do gift swap, nibble on snacks prepared by Wreckless Eric’s and meet some new people! It is festive, giving, and all local!

Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?

Because this is a networking event, with alcohol, participants need to be 18+.

What can I bring into the event?

Please bring your gift with a gift tag on it with the person’s name you are giving this to.

So I pay a fee and purchase a gift?

Yes! The fee goes to cover the cost of the snacks and then anything left goes to Big Brothers Big Sisters of Centre Wellington – a great cause helping local children! You will give a gift and you will receive a gift, meet some great people and have a great time!
