BELIEVE IN THE POTENTIAL THAT IS WITHIN EVERY CHILD

If you’re reading this page, you are likely one of the many people in our community who have BIG dreams for our children’s futures. Whether you’ve experienced the power of a mentor first hand, or felt what it’s like not to have anyone to lean on, then you already know the difference having someone to be there for you can make.

By signing up to Give Every Month – what we call a GEM – you will be supporting our cause and spreading your generosity throughout the year. No matter the amount, your monthly commitment ensures that there is a ready and reliable stream of funding available to help us match more children.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I become a monthly donor and remain anonymous? Absolutely! Donor recognition is very important to us, as we cannot do what we do without the generosity of our community. We appreciate that many donors do not wish to have a plaque installed or their name featured in appreciation posts.

My financial situation has changed and I wish to update or cancel my monthly giving. No problem! Just send us an email at cwadmin@bigbrothersbigsisters.ca and we will update/cancel your monthly donation amount.

Can I set up pre-authorized monthly payments from my bank account? You sure can! Please contact us at cwadmin@bigbrothersbigsisters.ca and we will collect all of the information to set up your pre-authorized payments directly from your bank account.

When will I receive my tax receipt? Great question! Monthly donors set up through our online system, Simply K, will receive a monthly tax receipt. If you have misplaced your receipts, not to worry, simply email cwadmin@bigbrothersbigsisters.ca to request duplicate tax receipts.

What are the benefits of giving monthly? Monthly giving means low administrative costs, which means that more of your money goes to where it is needed most: ensuring vulnerable youth develop into RESILIENT YOUNG PEOPLE who are able to overcome life’s adversities and lead productive and healthy lives.
