Beyond the Box is a group for youth between the ages of 12-15, created to empower youth in the community by addressing the gaps in services and resources for underserved youth in the community, such as 2SLGBTQIA+, Indigenous, and youth with disabilities by learning about allyship.

Beyond the Box is a 7 week program that creates a safe and inclusive space for youth to learn about allyship as well as how to advocate for themselves and others in the community. All youth will learn how to build a positive self-image, healthy boundaries, and will learn how to understand and challenge societal influences.

Additionally, Beyond the Box offers new and exciting programming each session! For this session, youth will have the opportunity to participate in free cooking lessons taught by local chefs as well as free art classes taught by local artists!
