Your $50 Trackside Virtual Ticket will get you:

• Louise! Louise will be your virtual experience host – making it that you don’t miss anything – from bidding opportunities to getting involved in the games, meeting the band and many of the amazing sponsors and VIP’s!
• a Derby theme Concession Box filled with delicious treats from The Evelyn Elora (specified below)
• 5 draws in our ongoing 50/50, Big Split 26
• the Big Night Out Gala program filled with all the details to keep you on track for the event
• the link to join the event online from the comfort of your own home!

What is the Concession Box?

Imagining you are actually Trackside at the Derby, The Evelyn Elora has prepared a themed Concession Box for you to enjoy while watching the virtual event! (vegetarian and vegan options also available)

• Burgoo – a rich stew of chicken, beef, pork, okra, tomato and potato
• Slider – slow cooked lamb, kentucky bourbon bbq sauce
• Pimento Cheese – cheddar, cream cheese, jalepeno, pimento and house crostini
• Benedictine Sandwiches – cucumber, cream cheese and crustless bread
• Derby Cake prepared by Fancy That Cake

This box will be prepared and ready for pick up March 25 between 3-6pm at the Elora Legion (110 Metcalfe St, Elora)

Frequently asked Questions

Help! I don’t know what to wear for a Derby themed event. As a Trackside Virtual Guest – you can join us in your fuzzy slippers and pajamas if you want. BUT… if you are looking to have fun with the theme check out our Pinterest board for Derby inspired outfits.

Are you able to accommodate food allergies and/or restrictions?  Absolutely! Please email kristen.drexler@bigbrothersbigsisters.ca and we will be sure to notify The Evelyn Elora of any dietary restrictions for your Concession Box.

How do I get involved in the games and silent auction? All donations, silent auction items, and tickets for both our Grand Prize and Win, Place or Show game, will be available on our  GalaBid site.  You will be asked to provide your credit card upon registration; however, nothing will be charged to your card without your authorization. Alternate forms of payment to settle your account will be available, including cash, cheque, and e-transfer.
